Basically, if you're famous then you're damned if you do and damned if you don't, right?

    Re: Coronavirus update

I think the context of the conversation is important. If I was a GP and someone was asking me, could I have had it, was it covid, what do you think, I'd be tempted to give the easy answer of "yes...

Re: Trump, masks 'they're not for me'...

Yes that, and also they're a good barrier to you absently touching your mouth and nose, which I guess is where the majority of transmissions occur.

A mask might not do loads of help, but it won't...

Re: Trump, masks 'they're not for me'...

Well done you for broadening the debate.

Did you ever expand on your comment that British DNA is better than Italian DNA so we don't succumb to the virus so easily? Quite a few of us were...

    Re: Coronavirus update

I can see you really really want to believe your wife was one of the first to have coronavirus rather than one of the many common viruses that people get at that time of year, every year, so ok.

Most of those students are probably Malaysian, and even if they are from China it's very unlikely they had recently been back in their home country. Isn't the end of uni term something like mid...

Re: Trump, masks 'they're not for me'...

I think the point is that, at a conference to advise everyone to wear masks, trump says oh no, I'm not gonna wear one, of course not.

Also, wearing a mask for pollution and a mask for a virus is...

And this one where he blames Obama for not having working tests. He's quite probably the world's most dangerous man right now.

Unless you were ill in December and had recently been to China or had contact with someone who had recently been to China, I can't see that it was this coronavirus. That's asking for a lot of...

Re: Aaron Ramsey makes second NHS donation

I hate him now. Used to love him. But you're right. He's insulted them.

I mean obviously I didn't give any of my money to charity or anything, but I don't earn as much so I have the right to...

    Re: Coronavirus update

It's written by Professor John Oxford, who a Google search reveals as an expert on the 1918 flu. Looks like Wales Bales has got some very clever plan up his sleeve.

    Re: Scrap the 2019/20 season?

I agree, onus is more on completing this season than starting the next one.

Another point is that a lot of player contracts, particularly lower down, will expire soon. The line ups that finish...

Re: Club pay cuts and furlough.

That's not what my post was about. I think it would be a good thing for players to earn a little less to allow the normies to get paid.

The government stopping clubs paying agent fees is nothing...

What business is it of the government's whether clubs pay agent fees? What business is it of the government's to cap wages for that matter.

Do you really think that's the kind of road you want to...

Re: Trump: Failure on a massive scale
