They are actually facts, not thoughts, about Williams. He simply chose to play for Wales, because he didn’t have a cat in hells chance of playing for his own country, and happily denied Welsh players...
They can only ‘choose’ if they have a ‘choice’….the players I’m talking about never had a chance to play for their country of ‘choice’.
Let’s just all support England then….or we could be their 2nd XI ? It seems a few wouldn’t mind that, looking at some of the comments on here.
Sincere apologies if my spelling mistake upset you.
So obviously their views might differ from mine.
I’m pretty sure English players would prefer to play for England, than Wales….given the choice. ;)
Au contraire….I'm certain we wouldn’t make a semi final without Bale and Ramsey, and Davis, not so sure we couldn’t make it without a few English journeymen.
I don’t really think you need to ask an Englishman if he’d be proud to play football for England at Wembley
I rather think that the “best moments of your life” were due more to the fact that we had the (one time) most expensive footballer in the World, and arguably the best British midfielder in our squad,...
He’d be even more proud if he had an England cap, and got to sing GSTQ at Wembley stadium.
A “rock” ? ….he’s slow, can’t, tackle, and couldn’t head a bus queue! Not my words (although I totally agree), but Everton fans comments when he signed for them! He was found out big time when he...
I would imagine nothing would “make you feel Welsh” more than being rejected by your own country, our your country of choice.
Some footballers simply want to satisfy their ambitions/ egos, and...
I enjoyed the 2016 Euros, but obviously would have enjoyed it a lot more if we had used less English players, (not good enough to play for England), I’m sure most Welshmen would.
To answer your...
I think our Euro success was more down to Bale, Ramsey, and Davis, than any 2nd rate English players tbh.
Dwin Dysgu Cymraeg ;)
We were extremely fortunate in the Euros, I went to every game, and it isn’t ideal that 3 Englishmen scored v Belgium.
I had a great time though, but we now seem to have a new breed of Welsh fans...
We actually only have Moore in the first XI at the moment. Most of the others have one Welsh parent, and quite a few have played through the age groups.
I realise most people don’t share my views,...
I’m more “seething” (mainly outwardly actually), that Welshmen were happy to have an English reject captain their Nations football team….but hey…I’m just ‘funny’ like that !
He had a head like a 50p piece! James Collins scored far more goals from set pieces…..and he’s Welsh! ;)
If only we had Johnson, Ampadu, Wilson, and Nico too.
We didn’t have a shot on target for over a half hour, at home, against 10 men, to put things into perspective.
Correct, and it’s much better, but still not quite the standard of their 1st few songs….imo.
I’m with you with Murder Capital…saw them last in Bristol SXS….think it’s the same gig you saw….excellent.
Agreed, some regulars on here are about as funny as a military funeral!…..I think that’s what the ‘ignore’ button is for. ; )
Definitely this…..I think the 4 album ‘deal’ was responsible ŁŁŁŁ.
P.S. you up for the Leeds game in Legends ?
Wait…..there’s young people on here ?
