    Re: RIP Peter Whittingham

RIP Whitts. My mate, his brother in law, is in absolute pieces and my heart goes out to his wife and their young family. He was such a nice bloke.
  2. Re: Off to benidorm next week should I be worried?

If only we could have had the Brexit vote after the virus had spread.
  3. Re: Cardiff and Brentford in entertaining draw, but it's not the result either of them wanted.

There’s no vendetta against City, he’s just a poor ref. He didn’t give City much yesterday but also some decisions went against Brentford including the incident where Vaulks was very lucky not to be...

    Re: Two things....

Brentford did the same at corners but I do agree with your point, particularly with players like Hoilett or Murphy who would offer no help in the box for corner and would be better served as an...

Oh and forgot to add - missed a blatant foul on Hoilett in the box!

    Re: Positives from today..

    Positives -

Vaulks although he should have been sent off, had a very good game.

Nice to see Joe Ralls back and getting a goal.

We scored an excellent 1st goal which shows we can play...

    Simon Hooper

I know he’s got previous with us but Christ did he have a bad game today, and not completely against us!

I almost thought he was making it up as he went along. The fouling on Morrison any time...

Re: Should I Skip Las Vegas?

I’d say a couple of days in Vegas would be enough.

If you can do drive down the Pacific Coast highway, the drive is absolutely breathtaking. I would also say, go to San Diego, it’s a beautiful...

Re: Fury V Wilder - The Rematch

Would love Fury to beat him but I think Wilder will catch him with one big shot when he gets careless, and unlike the last time, he’ll be KO’D. My guess is KO round 6

    Re: Cardiff City fan zone

Are we still in the contract with compass? If so, would this not sit outside of that agreement and give us the opportunity to make more from food and drink sales on a match day?

Re: How did we play today?

I thought we played ok for the 1st 30 minutes or so, despite sleeping for their goal, then the game seemed to have too many pauses for anyone to get anything going. We didn’t kick on after equalising...

    Paterson

I thought Paterson, in a very good team performance, was good in the lone striker role last night. He’s never going to be a world beater but he was less headless chicken yesterday, held the ball well...

    Re: DARE TO DREAM...

I do wonder if Harris, as a former striker, has been working over and above with Paterson, as he seemed less headless chicken last night but a proper target man who made some intelligent runs into...

Nope only the Liverpool game on BEIN Sports
  15. Re: Dalman opens up on Sala stance and explains the club’s position

Exactly, I’d like to think it just some hot air from Dalman but if it’s not, and we haven’t accrued for it, then something dodgy has gone on!
  16. Re: Dalman opens up on Sala stance and explains the club’s position

No one is asking us to pay £15m now, it’ll be £5.3m from last Jan and £5.3 for this Jan. f you haven’t paid for it yet but you know it could be due, you accrue for it until you do actually pay for...

    Re: Adomah...report..

I’ll take the Forest fans at face value and apologise for the mistake - Adomah is no longer fast due to the ageing process and his final ball is inconsistent.

    Hope that clears things up.

    Re: Leeds doing a Leeds

I really do hope they balls it up again this year but I think it might be their year, as the others chasing are as, if not more, inconsistent

Re: Adomah and Sanderson in. Peltier out

I think most understand the move as Peltier has his limitations on the ball and Harris wants more from his full backs offensively. But the concern is what’s left - a full back who’s injury record is...

Re: Adomah and Sanderson in. Peltier out

Murmurs today that he’s fallen out with Harris. Who knows but he did seem happy at City, maybe he’d been told that he wouldn’t be offered another contract and there’s a chance of getting one at WBA?

I said had we survived, then yes it would have been **** all in comparison to the tv money we would have received, not just gate receipts.

We couldn’t afford players who were seasoned premier...

    Re: Josh Murphy

I don’t think we’ve been taken to the cleaners. In the grand scheme of things £11m is **** all, if we had survived last season but we didn’t. We took a punt/risk on Murphy and it’s not worked out....

    Re: Adomah...report..

I know what you mean, I always thought he was a dangerous player when he’s played against us because of his pace, but lacks an end product consistently. Hopefully if he signs he’ll do ok for us.

    Poll: Re: Jordan Rhodes

Don’t see him as the type of forward that would suit our neat and intricate style of football.
