Re: Dan James starts for united

It's all rubbish. Players stepped out of line all the time under Ferguson, Giggs was having an affair with his brother's wife and Fergie knew all about it.

If that's not an indictment on the rest of them, I don't know what is.

    Re: Mendez Laing

NML needs to pick the ball up deep and run at people, and he needs that space to get the ball under. :hehe:

    Re: Mendez Laing

On his day, he's unplayable and is the best winger in the league. When he's off it, which is more often, my God he's bad. He hasn't got the technique or skill to play within himself, so he's very all...

Oh yeah, I was there and I must have blanked that out. Going well. :hehe:
  6. Re: I prefer Netflix to Amazon when it comes to fly on the wall football documentaries.

Sunderland's doc did not have any editorial input by Sunderland, whereas Man City and Leeds' was done with the club. They're a complete waste of time. Also, Leeds fans are already celebrating their...

    Re: Marlon Pack

We've always been susceptible to that under Warnock. Remember his first few months we got done on the break constantly. Barnsley 4-3 springs to mind.

    Re: Warnock Clutching At Straws?

Pack went off and we lost all control. We were definitely the better side until then. We've now shipped 6 in 2 away games, and it should have been 7 with the missed pen. Shambles.

Re: A level grade "boundaries" leak

Tell me about it, the night before an exam I did a past paper and walked it. Turned over my exam, and got a cool 28, and less than 25% people passed. It doesn't help it's 2 questions, so if you can't...

Re: A level grade "boundaries" leak

I did ACCA and the pass rates were absolutely mental. For the harder exams they'd go from low 20s to high 50s from sitting to sitting. They're not graded on a curve, it's a strict 50 mark pass/fail...

Re: A level grade "boundaries" leak

They use, wait for it, maths, to work out the boundaries. This way, a certain number of people get an A, B, C, D etc. That way, if an exam is unreasonably difficult, it doesn't impact those doing the...

Re: A level grade "boundaries" leak

As you say, Rudy probably dropped the odd mark and as it was easy, his UMS mark dropped. I needed 90+ in some of my exams to get an A but again, that wasn't reported in the papers cos kIdS hAvE gOt...

Re: A level grade "boundaries" leak

If anyone should be annoyed, it's me who got an average of over 95% in my Maths A level. I've now only got an A instead of the A* :hehe:. I really don't care, also this "standards have been dumbed...

Re: A level grade "boundaries" leak

A certain percentage of people get each grade. A isn't the highest anymore either. The exam was probably solid!
  19. Re: Where can tickets for a Serie A game most easily be purchased?

Hi TBG, I went to the Milan Derby (it was a AC Milan game), and I became a member of AC Milan's Cuore Rossonero. This allowed me to be pretty much guaranteed tickets provided I was early enough on...
  20. Re: Premier League messing with the rules again

Try and save a penalty without moving first.

Also, the offside rules are too anal now with VAR. I don't want to see someone flagged because they're 3mm offside. It isn't supposed to be applied...

  23. Re: Premier League messing with the rules again

It isn't treated the same, that isn't the rule. Any use of a hand or arm resulting in a goal being scored, is now handball. The normal handball rules still apply for everything else.
  24. Re: Premier League messing with the rules again

If the ball strikes your arm or hand to score a goal, it is handball, even if it wouldn't be given as handball elsewhere on the pitch. I have no idea what Glenn Murray has to do with it.
  25. Re: Premier League messing with the rules again

I'm involved in running a football club and we went to a seminar on the new rules. If the ball strikes your arm or hand to score a goal, it is handball, even if it wouldn't be given as handball...
