    Re: Welsh Speaking Bluebirds

    Yes.
Another one that came to mind was Kevin Evans who I think scored with the chip against Chesterfield the last time we were in League 2.

Re: FC Porto v Cardiff City

There's is a group of us going (by coincidence, we're in the Algarve this weekend anyway). Going to go for the East Stand (10eur) tickets. Unallocated seating.

Re: Transfer Rumours | Summer 2023

Largely playing on the right by all accounts.

If 4-2-3-1 is Bulut's preferred approach, I guess he'd be looking to play him on the right of the three (with, hopefully, Ejuke on the left, and then...

    Re: GLAMMY

Very disappointing news about David Lloyd. I know that moving closer to home was the reason given, but we're talking about swapping a 3 hour journey for a 2 hour one... not exactly down the road. ...

Glamorgan about to announce legspinner Mitchell Swepson as a replacement for Neser. Lesson not learnt from choosing Patel as Neser's replacement... clear to all that a pace bowler would be more...

Bit of a surprising one - Michael Hogan apparently not retiring after all... off to Kent on a two year contract.

    Re: GLAMMY

Hassan Azad and Harry Podmore likely incomers as well by all accounts - two good additions.

Given that Yorkshire will probably have a points deduction next season, Glamorgan could be favourites to...

    Re: GLAMMY

The worst part for me is to have a small "premier" league that is so difficult to get promoted to. I think the proposal is that the two counties who win their respective conferences would play-off...

    Re: GLAMMY

Given that the forecast for tomorrow is good, I wouldn't be adverse to batting for 20 overs now rather than enforce the follow on. Set them 450 from 115+ overs, but more importantly give our players...

    Re: GLAMMY

Right to release these 5, I feel. Glamorgan must have the oldest 2nd XI in County Cricket. Feel as if moving towards a younger 2nd XI, and a smaller first team squad, is the right thing to do.

    I...

Any news of Glamorgan incomings ahead of next season? Other counties seem to be making a few.

Every Welsh Fire game has either been a sell-out, or 10k+. A quick look at Glamorgan's pre-covid financial statements show £0.6m revenue from membership fees & ticket sales per annum... the Welsh...

    Re: Hotel options For Qatar

The one thing that's holding me back from booking at the moment is the fear that being based in Dubai, rather than Doha, means that you miss out on the day-to-day World Cup atmosphere in Doha. How...

Quick google... the Fairmont is 1.6k a room (£750 a head) for 11 nights. I'm increasingly seeing that, annoyingly, Expedia Group loyalty discounts are beaten by more and more sites, even when...

    Re: Hotel options For Qatar

They're making a good margin on that. If booking yourself, you can go:

    BA Direct flight Heathrow-Dubai: 600
    11 Nights 5 Star: <1,000
    3x Dubai-Doha Shuttle Return flights: 600
    Total: £2,200

Dafydd Iwan was asked to sing before a Cardiff City game - before the 3-3 draw with Chesterfield when we were promoted from Division 3 in 2001.

The club was trying to make quite an event of that...

There isn't another good enough batsman in the squad to justify pushing Cooke down as low as 7. He is too good a batsman to have to feel forced to score quickly as he's batting with the lower order....
