Re: Doner Kebab in Naan Bread

I couldn't eat one sober, not sure I could eat one drunk these days either. I did like a good kebab mind. The one JR Hartley mentioned sounds delicious. I was always dubious about the meat that...
  2. Re: Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock wants to raid his old club Cardiff City for veteran defender Sol Bamba

It is desperate up there. I did some consultancy work at Redcar and Cleveland council back in the day, I think 'boro were in the Prem and struggling, but it was the only talking point in the office....

Doner Kebabs are for when you are pissed and indestructible.

    Re: Coronavirus update

I must have missed those then, although your mod kept posting waving smileys for some reason. Maybe there were other things posted after I logged off, but compared to the Organ Morgan belittling...
  6. Re: Bluebirds pre-season crowd application rejected

What are you basing this on, out of interest? And, what do you think he should be doing differently?

    Re: Coronavirus update

Mods, feel free to delete like you deleted other posts that questioned statements that were passed off as facts earlier today.

This article is 18 days old, so do you have anything more recent? I...

    Re: More flipping adverts!

I've asked them, you and blue matt. No-one has answered.
  10. Re: Dear Mr Gunman , this is why I hate the Premier league

Christ, I can't believe he tried this one. He has seen more games at Cardiff than Vincent Tan this year, and that is with covid. :hehe:

Re: Crowds allowed at lower Divisions

On a Colchester United site, they list the lowest crowds to watch Colchester ever. It includes 710 that saw Merthyr v Colchester in December 1990. Merthyr finished 9th that season.

  12. Re: Bluebirds pre-season crowd application rejected

    20 cases in Wales today.

    Close to 1000 in England.

Your criticism of Drakeford is that he doesn't act quickly (I assume in comparison to Johnson). The figures show he is currently getting it...

Re: Crowds allowed at lower Divisions

Early 90s, about 600-900 I think. They were always one of the lower crowds on teletext. I have some old Rothmans somewhere so could dig it out.

    Re: Coronavirus update

I am giving the fat twat (and I make no apologies with tens of thousands dead, and thousands of care home/NHS staff put at risk) the benefit of the doubt. I think he was forced to concede to the...

    Re: Coronavirus update

Drakeford isn't following Johnson. He is following the advice of his scientific advisors, something Johnson gave up on ages ago when all the heat was focused on his master, Dominic Cummings.

    Re: Coronavirus update

    Scotland 80 cases today
    Wales 20
    England 900 plus

Johnson does everything first. And it is working. Just ask the people who are unable to socialise at all this weekend in the North West.

    Re: More flipping adverts!

Serious question, and I have asked a few times, but who is in charge of the cookies? Even saying you don't want the cookies, you still get them.

I think it has come to that stage for them. But, wouldn't they have to start quite low down?

    Re: Coronavirus update

I don't think the UK even paid off the WW1 debt, it still owes America billions. WW2 was paid off recently.

It introduced Income Tax to pay for the Napoleonic Wars as a short term measure. The...
  23. Re: Mike And The Mods ......who is on tonight........what the christ is going on ?

You'd be a good signing, although you managed to single-handedly close down the last board you were a member of.
  24. Re: Northampton v Cardiff City. Sat 5th September, ko 3:00pm

I can't see many clubs wanting to take the extra games in this competition this season, but I like the idea of the first round taking place the week before the season starts. They do a similar thing...
  25. Re: Bluebirds pre-season crowd application rejected

Of course, while England continues to record 1,000 cases, Wales recorded 34. France, apparently, have crowds back in the football. They are recording 4,000 cases daily (not saying that is football...
