  3. Re: Good article on Cardiff City's finances

Can't do a link but on Bristol'Street OTIB site one of their posters has put up Swiss Ramble's report and is interpreting it differently, suggesting we may even fall foul of FFP. I thought we were...

Re: So, How do we beat Reading

I remember us beating Rovers last game of the season, not sure of the score. They had been top but fell away and missed out on play-offs due to that defeat. Think Holloway was manager then?

    Re: Bryson

Best contribution to this thread so far and I tend to agree, although more hoping we just have not seen the best of him yet. Maybe the addition of another CM player will help.
  8. Re: The Guardian article (City Featured)

Re: Player with the biggest potential

I remember the hype. It turned out a more limited Scott Young would be the mainstay of our defence.

    Re: Anyone dieting

I believe coconut oil is best avoided if your cholesterol is on the wrong side of middling. It is full of saturated fat.

    Re: Martin McGuinness dies...

McGuinness and Ian Paisley were able to form friendship and mutual respect from hatred and together enable the peace process. That deserves some recognition on both their parts considering the state...

Re: Taxi to / from Bristol airport.

Oh, that's early, too. There's quite a few b&bs in the area that will give you early breakfast, parking and some will drop you to the airport.

Re: Taxi to / from Bristol airport.

You can get train to Temple Mead's and airport flyer bus to airport from there if that's any help. May work out a bit cheaper, don't know.

Thanks Uncle Bob! Had a cheeky fiver on Willoughby Court, returned 85 @ 16/1. Looking forward to your thoughts on tomorrow's card.

    Re: Adam Armstrong

I reckon this is just the kind of player we would want to be bringing in on loan. Young, hungry and eager to show he can step up to the mark at this level. Let's hope we are making enquiries.

    Re: Winningest

Love it, it's great when you sit/ stand near someone each week and hear them go through their full repertoire. It usually means you've watched a decent game.

  22. Re: Trollope hopeful he'll be busy in transfer market

I know, bit you have to have hope. As it stands, he just may be a decent option from the bench, although that is probably extravagant.

    Re: Impact Players

Ramsey was the key man in that excellent team, I would have to agree with others that season was probably my favourite, what a team, what fun. Good times.

    Re: Impact Players

I firmly believe if Routledge had stayed with us we would have finished top two that season, some of the best football I've seen city play during that spell.

Re: booking a last minute holiday?

Definitely worth looking at Turkey, great value, albeit a bit dicey.
