Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread

We've gifted them two goals today. Absolutely shocking defending. Campbell showing us what we don't have.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread

A limp turgid performance so far. Not much sticking in midfield and the ball is going backwards too much. Without Tomlin we're just not a threat.

Don't tell me he's done his cruciate.... that would be just awful.
  4. Re: Remind yourself how good a goalscorer was Ian Rush....

Look at the way his first touch always puts the ball exactly where he wants it and ready to strike.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v WIGAN: Match thread

That is a very controversial decision. Football is a semi contact sport and Marshall made a weak challenge. I think that was a goal.

We do look wide open when teams break quickly after set pieces. Oh well another half-time rollicking required.

I didn't know you are allowed to grab the arm of a runner with the ball inside the box.

Nice one. Say something else and it might work again.

We need to up the pace a bit. It's all a bit slow at the moment and that suits Wigan.

We don't want this called off. We're on a roll and another win would get us closer to the playoffs. Come on City!

Does anyone else remember going to that FA Cup game at West Brom to watch Blakey playing for Blackburn in 99?

I always think of that day when I see West Brom on the tv. City's away game at Bolton...

    Re: Neil Harris

We were so unbalanced earlier in the season. On the right wing we either had the out of form Mendez Laing, the erratic Whyte or Paterson (who isn't a winger). With Adomah in the side we have...
