    Re: Hoilett, not in form?

Whyte looks a better player under Harris. Whether that's because Harris has taken off some of the defensive shackles, I don't know, but he's definitely growing in confidence and improving as a player.

    Re: Hoilett, not in form?

Hasn't done much since Warnock left. Some of Hoilett's best form has been when Warnock has been his manager. No criticism of Hoilett here by the way, but wonder if Warnock was a manager who made him...
  4. Re: Paterson and the rest of this squad

Absolutely. Give him the no 9 shirt.
  5. Re: CARDIFF CITY v W.B.A. Match thread

    :hehe:

Let's be clear. I think most of us got frustrated with Warnockball. However, you're not going to get a massive change of approach with a Warnock-built group of players and continue to be...

Re: Does Klopp have a point?

So irrelevant that you could hardly escape from Liverpool fans letting everyone on social media know they were World Club champions.....
  7. Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 2 - 1 W.B.A. Match thread

Paterson and Tomlin - dream team.

Re: Does Klopp have a point?

The Premier League voted for a mid season break as happens in some other countries. What's the point of having a break if fixtures are going to be shoved in it? I understand Klopp standing up for...

    Re: City demand apology ...

If Prince Phillip had been there, he'd have been complaining about a lack of racism.

On a separate note, my chance of appearing in the next honours' list has just got slimmer.
  10. Boss of NAT calls for Cardiff city centre to be a car free zone.

  11. Harris - glass half full or empty?

I guess this will be proof that there are different ways to look at statistics. Which way do you look at things?

After Neil Warnock left the club on the back of 3 defeats in 6 (2 to our main...
  12. Re: Paterson and the rest of this squad

If we had Jay Bothroyd up there, this debate wouldn't be happening.

The debate is whether or not Paterson is better than what we have. Sod what position he held before he signed. We're clearly not...
  13. Re: Paterson and the rest of this squad

    Only in the youth teams.
  14. Re: Paterson and the rest of this squad

And that's Paterson's strength. He's not really a number 10 with deft touches or subtly timed runs into the box. Can only presume he was used as a right back at Hearts because he liked getting...
  15. Re: Paterson and the rest of this squad

That's the guy. Ended up going up front despite all the goals from Andy Ritchie and Frankie Bunn.
  16. Re: Paterson and the rest of this squad

Sutton played half a season in the first division for Norwich as a defender. He was thrown up front in an emergency, did rather well and kept the shirt. I seem to remember Oldham had a defender...
  17. Re: Paterson and the rest of this squad

Chris Sutton was a centre back before becoming one of the best strikers in the Premier League for a while. James Collins was a striker before becoming a great centre back.

    Means nowt.
  18. Re: Paterson and the rest of this squad

As I've mentioned before, Glatzels's goals have all come away from home. At home, he's never looked convincing at all.

Re: FA CUP 5th ROUND DRAW LIVE

Would be great if we could get it to penalties, McBurnie has to score to keep them in it, then blazes one into the Canton end, before legging it as fast as he can from the celebrating City fans...

Re: FA CUP 5th ROUND DRAW LIVE

Crap draw in terms of progression for non Premier League sides. It's entirely possible for all non Premier sides to be eliminated. I would have liked several all Prem ties but there's only 1,...
  22. Re: (Friday 31st ) Brexit Party Day & City Home

Yes, thinking about dressing up with the job centre logo for those who have already lost their jobs because of it. Sad that I know people whose livelihoods and futures have been totally mangled...

    Re: What's your Ethnicity?

Yes, I would like that, but it's not going to happen in my life time. With the number of English already here the vote is already lost.

    Re: What's your Ethnicity?

I answered it. The Republic of Ireland is in the British Isles in a geographical sense, but politically anyone born there is Irish. Only people born in the UK (or outside of UK parents) are British...
