  3. Re: Looking at Burnley shef United and Luton did we actually do quite well in the Premier under warnock

Which really lays to rest the argument frequently postulated on here and the other place that Warnock should have been replaced with a 'PL manager' once promotion was achieved. He did a pretty decent...

Re: Iran in direct attack on Israel

From what I understand, Britain's decision to enter the conflict in 1914 was swayed by the fact that Germany was close to completing the railway all the way to the Iraq [Mesoptamia] oilfields.

    Re: WAG wasting more money….

I've visited the National Museum of Scotland several times when up in Edinburgh on business, and it's absolutely fascinating - I could spend a week there. The place in Cathays Park by comparison has...

Re: Players hurt by negative comments?

    Dear Erol,
Just a quick line to say how much I'm enjoying the football this season at the CCS. Please pass on my thanks to the players, your team, and also may I thank you personally. The players...
  8. Poll: Re: Time to get of the fence. Should Bulut go or stay.

Our manager seems to be 'playing' to the fans, even saying he'll play a different type of game next season. The Wintle & Ralls contracts say it all for me, plus playing Turnbull as a no10.

    How...

    Re: Ukraine Losses (Allegedly)

More to the point, the anti-western axis of Russia, Iran and China appears to be growing in confidence..
  10. Re: MILLWALL v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Same here. As soon as Wintle and Ralls were given TWO MORE SEASONS !

Would be perfectly happy with that.
  14. Re: Cardiff City bomb two players from squad over disciplinary issues as Bulut demands 'respect'

I just wonder how much 'dis-respect' was a result of virtually being frozen out of the team, in Robinson's case especially.

    Re: Interesting article re: Wagebill

No, but if you put together a table headed "clubs most likely to get value for what they spend on players' wages", then we'd be very close to the bottom..

Re: Lets Have a Sensible Debate -Part 1

I could warm to the idea of Bulut here next season, were it not for the fact he handed 2yr contract extensions to Ralls and Wintle. Makes me suspicious of his ongoing plans..
  17. Re: FT: BIRMINGHAM CITY 0 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Maybe I'm warming to him a bit. The goal shows what an influence play like that can have on other players, in this case Bowler. I doubt he would have busted a gut to get on the end of a return pass...
  18. Re: FT: BIRMINGHAM CITY 0 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

In fairness to Bowler when the ball's played up to him invariably the nearest City player is 20yds away.
  19. Re: FT: BIRMINGHAM CITY 0 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Our insistence on having a blocking midfield as opposed to a championship-paced one has hindered our play all over the field for 5 seasons

    Re: Observation on Brum players

If he's the one I'm thinking of, he could only go outside his player, so Collins kept him on his left throughout.

    Re: British Gas Profits

You won't get me arguing the case for our profligate and incompetent utility companies, but in regard to BG's profit that does equate to just over £1 per week per UK household [they supply 12m]..
  23. Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

That's what I thought. It's sod all to do with the football club by the looks of it, just a great big vanity project for someone to leave his 'legacy'..
  24. Re: Moneybags Hull the latest beneficiaries of the Cardiff City Stadium Benevolent Society.

He can go. Against Sunderland Goutas had a day off, yesterday the play was littered with the simplest of passes going astray, missed tackles, things that just shouldn't happen at this level. He's...

It wasn't me. Throughout the season I've been raising my eyes up to the Almighty in thanks and praise for our glorious team and the football they've delivered week in, week out..
