Re: Your favourite ever city goal

Willie Boland at the Crabble Top in the FA Cup. Not sure if it made Goal of the Month, but it was the little maestro’s only goal in 900 appearances for the Bluebirds.

    Re: Another Jolly

Trade deals already negotiated on the basis of “grandfather’s rights”. Many on a grandfather’s plus basis. Also, passporting only affects about 9% of financial services etc.

Re: Can hear a pin drop at Trashtown Gate?

Be interesting to think how “we” do against their third string on Domingo. Pep already said Mangala, Danilo, Gundegan, Foden going to start.

Re: How we could do with Willie Boland now

Generally prefer second person, as third person and third countries always seem to be more fashionable these days.

    Re: Another Jolly

Not quite right. Unless Drunker et al give us a free trade deal, we would go onto WTO rules. We would then trade with EU bloc as Third Country as we do with rest of World. These do make many products...

    Re: Another Jolly

Most certainly is a jolly, and the v worst sort- a Boyo jolly😋. Taffia still deluded and in denial after all this time. Dopy Mfanwy still doesn’t understand difference between membership of, and...

Re: Bayeux Tapestry coming to Wales ?

Re: Jimmy Armfield has passed away

    Great man, also churchgoer.

I vividly recall his Trotters side gaining a worthy draw in FA Cup replay at the Old Lady in v early 70s. Predictably finished us off in second replay at neutral venue....
  19. Hoilett’s reckless tackles finally come back to haunt him

Played Bluebirds v Citizens on FIFA 18 (legendary). 2-2 at Parc y Betsan Powys, with Hoilett getting his marching orders for a straight red.

Replay in Moss Side was one way traffic, with massive...
  20. Re: Strange how there are never bids for Ramsey

Steve Derrett was a good Kairdiff boy. I’ll stick on him, rather than keep twisting.
  21. Re: Strange how there are never bids for Ramsey

I grew up watching Gordon Owen and Billy Ronson.
  22. Re: Strange how there are never bids for Ramsey

    Richard Langley for starters.
  23. Re: Strange how there are never bids for Ramsey

Eee, tha’s a rarrrt wun lad. Anecdote from yesterday- Old lag at Owlerton pontificating, as City fans arrived-“you come ooop here with tha Taffy ways, and tha’s nowt more than Yaki Da”😋
  24. Re: Strange how there are never bids for Ramsey

Didn’t read my response. They were only linked with those as short term fixes, bit part players. Lansbury Park would expect more involvement wouldn’t he.
  25. Re: Strange how there are never bids for Ramsey

Bit disingenuous there. Chels only associated with those as stop gaps, cover etc.
