Fowler was injured wasn’t he? (as always)
As pointed out elsewhere I suspect, this makes our points totals of 30 and 34 for our two seasons in the Premier League look almost respectable….. :-/
Which clearly wasn’t the brief so in the owners’ eyes.
So he failed.
Fingers crossed for Oxford now.
An easy away day plus it will be good to play against our Old Boys XI.
Whether you are for or against keeping Bulut a one year contract seems rather underwhelming from his point of view, if he is wanting to move his family here, as much as anything.
I don’t think...
Small club mentality then.
An ambitious owner splashes the cash and expects results.
Not a huge surprise.
Birmingham sacking Eustace was ridiculous.
Why is it ridiculous out of interest?
They spent lots of money (I think anyway) and didn’t make the play offs.
In the world of footballing short termism that doesn’t seem ridiculous.
I envy you in that what you do makes a difference.
I just look back at all the thousands of stupid meetings that I have been to over my life and wonder what difference it made to anyone. And all...
Exactly.
(I’m 59 as well - for another 3 weeks anyway - but still working….)
Lucky you.
I have often not wanted to go to work but never ever thought of ducking it, as that isn’t what you sign up for. That is unforgivable in my eyes.
I wouldn’t say that I have enjoyed...
No and I was almost equally disinterested in those games as well, despite going to the Millwall game :-/
Teams often tail off in situations like this so the near hysteria on this board seems a bit...
I didn’t see the game yesterday (thankfully) as I just not that bothered about playing Rotherham with absolutely nothing on the match.
Whereas the result looks shocking and it sounds like a poor...
Yes for the first few games then no.
You mean like we all turn up to watch Cardiff City bore us to tears? lol
Well said DD.
Really? Two lucky own goals in a pretty scrappy performance?
Ramsay’s goal at Leicester, some of the football played very early in the season plus the second half against the JBs at home obvs.
...
We were entertaining in periods at the start of the season, which gave me lots of hope. It was refreshing (whilst is lasted!)
Leeds, Leicester, Ipswich (all away), the JBs second half at home.
...
These are great.
Good for him.
I think that it has everything to do with Jones.
He chose the players and set the team up (loosely by all accounts).
The football seemed to be entertaining across all of his time at the club,...
I didn’t see the game. How did he play other than the apparent ‘neat and tidy’ rubbish that people go on about.
Thank goodness that we signed him instead of Diedhiou in January 2023.
Why am I not surprised to read this?
He has contributed absolutely zero since joining and yet some people claim that he is a neat and tidy footballer.
Bizarre.
