  1. Sticky: Re: The 2018 - 2019 Premier Season Match Prediction Thread - SOUTHAMPTON

Betfair have City 4/1 to win. Must say I'm tempted.

    Re: Appalling

Couldn't agree more. The worst I've seen City play in a looong time. My only hope is for this to have been a very off day.

I've an acquaintance who swears that EMF has some ill effect (I forget) on her health. I'm sceptical too. I seem to remember reading a study that found that these people get sick when they think...

  6. Re: One thing I don't get about opposing players and managers at Cardiff City Stadium.

At the risk of encouraging you, can you be more specific in your complaint so that the rest of us can evaluate it?

(Ideally, I think a point like yours is best handled in a PM to the OP, but...

Re: Does anyone on here still buy a newspaper?

I buy a paper on Saturdays sometimes. Apart from enjoying the format, I find that with online media I apply my filters and only read what I'm already interested in, whereas in print I usually have a...

  13. Sticky: Re: The 2018 - 2019 Premier Season Match Prediction Thread - HUDDERSFIELD

1-0 City. Our confidence will be high going into the game. I see HUD are favourites on Betfair but like a few of you, I do fancy us (should have a bet then, shouldn't we?)

  16. Newcastle tickets - general sale or just members?

    Hi,

I bought a membership (£25) because I understood it would give me priority over the public in access to tickets. However when I bought my Newcastle ticket at lunchtime, it seemed that anyone...

Exactly. Support City, Welsh teams in every sport, and Britain in the Olympics. Have supported England in cricket.

    Re: Hurling

Couldn't agree more. As an immigrant to Ireland, I find gaelic football to be a bit dull - but hurling's great. It's the only field game I know with very few action replays - because there isn't time.
  19. Re: The 2 best teams in this years Championship after Wolves....

For what little it's worth, I think Fulham will win it. The betting markets do too, so those of you who are confident that Villa will win would be advised to have a wager.
