    Re: Film 19

Just checked reviews of The Lunchbox. They are very good so this will be the next film I watch.

Green Book. Just got home from watching this. I thought Mortensen and Ali were excellent. A decent script with some gentle moments of humour. Thoroughly enjoyed it. A worthy 8/10.

Re: Sala died of head and chest injuries

Hopefully Sala died on impact and only suffered the dread of crashing in the minutes and seconds before it happened. It would at least mean he didn’t suffer in pain.

Re: So you want to stay in the EU?

It makes me laugh when I hear Brexiteers talk about unelected bureaucrats in Brussels.
In any given General Election my vote counts for nothing. A pig wearing a blue rosette would walk it. So how in...
  7. Re: Mickey Thomas diagnosed with stomach cancer

He was a very good player in his day. Strange seeing him bald given that he used to have long hair. I wish him all the best in his fight.

Re: Main Thread on Jeremy Vine

Vine is awful. Some of the questions I have heard him ask interviewees are cringeworthy. Stop listening to him. He is vastly overpaid as he has no discernible talent

Re: So you want to stay in the EU?

These right wing Tories are such snowflakes. The compare the EU to Nazis or Stalinists or as the enemy and yet when they get a bit back they get all uppity. Tusk is right so **** them.

Re: Matt Brazier dies aged 42

I can't imagine what you have had to go through. No parent should have to go through this. All the very best.

Re: Matt Brazier dies aged 42

That’s grim. Having to try and fund treatment in Turkey should not have been necessary. Could he not have been looked after in the UK? To pass away at such a young age is terrible.
  12. Re: Nasty facial injury yesterday to Reading player

Yep even if it means you lose balance you do whatever it needs to avoid contact with the face.
  13. Re: Nasty facial injury yesterday to Reading player

We didn’t even get a free kick for this. As far as I am concerned this was a deliberate stamp and Mings should have seen red. I hope the FA review this and that thug gets a long ban.
  14. Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 2 - 0 AFC BOURNEMOUTH. Match thread

What a superb and brave win. A huge well done
  15. Re: Sky sports saying David brooks out for 4 weeks

Yep but whilst he is healing he isn’t playing. By the time he is fit in four weeks time there will only be a few games before Slovakia. Much rather this than him suffering an injury in three weeks...
  16. Re: Club announce moment of silent reflection today

Absolutely the right thing to do and I am sure it will be observed.
  17. Re: Sky sports saying David brooks out for 4 weeks

Good for both Cardiff and Wales. Gives him a break and less chance of being injured in the lead up to Slovakia.

Lion on Netflix. It’s based on a true story of a little Indian boy called Saroo who gets lost and ends up hundreds of miles away from home. He is eventually adopted by an Australian couple. As an...

Re: Come on City!..Come on Wales!

I thought Barnes rushed the decision and could have gone to the TMO. It didn’t cost us the game but it did mean we missed out on a bonus point for scoring four try’s.

Re: Come on City!..Come on Wales!

Yep Patchell is also injured and of course Webb can no longer play. I wonder when push comes to shove Webb may end up in the World Cup party. We have incredible depth in the back row. When you think...

Re: Come on City!..Come on Wales!

Losing that last line out was infuriating. Davies was also too slow getting the ball out from the base of the scrum near the end . We have to start Biggar ahead of Anscombe who is too flaky and can’t...

Re: Come on City!..Come on Wales!

We absolutely have a chance. Loads of depth. Look at all the injuries. No Leigh Halfpenny, Ellis Jenkins, Arron Shingler, Dan Lydiate, Taulupe Faletau, James Davies, Scott Williams etc etc.
