    Re: Now TV

Also if you use the "leave" Now TV and go through the leaving process you will automatically be offered a lower price to persuade you to stay.

Re: Giggs on the brink of Wales appointment

Giggs will be in no position to berate players when they pull out of friendlies. A manager should lead by example to command the respect of players and unfortunately Giggs fails to pass muster.

    Re: Greg Cunningham

Very strange. If he is that good why do Preston want to loan him out?

All of which begs the question why did we extend Feeney's loan?

Re: Hughes does not want Wales manager job

I don't want him either but as matters stand he could have been the least worst option.

Re: OT: Letting out a flat off the books

I don't think rent a room means being a UK resident. As I read the rules you are required to be resident in the property during the time you rent a room.

Re: OT: Letting out a flat off the books

The "landlord" has to be resident for rent a room to apply:

    https://www.gov.uk/rent-room-in-your-home/the-rent-a-room-scheme

And we have already established that tax is not an issue.

Doh! He's not renting out a room but the entire property.

Re: OT: Letting out a flat off the books

There is no connection between the agent with anyone but yourself at least there wasn't when I rented a property out although I always prefer to go down the legit route. Information about the...

Re: OT: Letting out a flat off the books

Have you considered letting it out commercially? I had a flat near Morrisons where the management agent was Peverel. I used the agent below who were superb:

    The problem...

Re: OT: Letting out a flat off the books

That depends on the point in the tax year you stop working. If you stop working in say December and earn up to that point your taxable allowance any income from property between January and March...

Re: OT: Letting out a flat off the books

Whether or not you break the rules is up to you as long as you are prepared to accept the consequences whatever these may be. If you want a legal agreement a model shorthold tenancy agreement is...
  14. Re: If you’re going to have a bad run, now’s the time

Now is most certainly not the time as games come too quickly with no time to get things right.

    Re: Etheridge again

The ball came straight at Etheridge; it bounced off his chest back into play. On Talksport this morning Warnock stated that Preston's goal was down to goalkeeper error or to be more precise...

Re: CARDIFF v PRESTON. Match thread

Ugly viewing. Hoofball at its finest. It's a miracle we are so high in the table. Preston the better side at the moment but at last Tomlin seems to be getting into the game after an inglorious start...

    Re: Preston score predictions

If you have blind faith then good for you. But no football club can win every game. It's not about being a defeatist; it is about giving an honest and realistic assessment of how things are seen at...

    Re: Preston score predictions

0-2. We will lose. The team has been so disjointed by injury to key players, loss of form of some, poor midfield and resorting to hoofball tactics plus the probable lack of match fitness of Zohore...

Re: How much have you spent this year?

I note you left out the words "and socialising". You don't have to spend a fortune to have the occasional drink in a pub. Of course if you are a heavy/problem drinker then drinking at home is of...

And people complain they are hard up or they are going into massive debt. This thread sounds as though we have never had it so good.

Re: Clement gone from Swansea Town.

Most Premier League clubs invest in their squads in order to, at the very least, remain in the League. Swansea have done the opposite by consistently selling their best players and buying cheaper...

Re: Clement gone from Swansea Town.

The fans don't want Pulis even though it is their best chance of staying up. Strange lot down west.
  23. Re: David Cotterill’s Birmingham contract terminated

If he's not good enough for a team at the bottom of the Championship whey on earth would we want him?
  24. Re: Does your Mrs know it's a 5.30pm KO ? Or are you having:---------

I didn't fancy a 300 mile round trip so near to Xmas. Because of issues with driving at night every time I attend a match is a 2 day trip and the hotel prices are horrendous at this time of the year....

The match coincides with the Strictly final so the wife will have to watch the dancing on the small bedroom TV.
