    Re: GLAMMY

Going to give tomorrow a miss. It looks like thundery downpours at or around the start of the game. Looks like another abandonment to me.

    Re: GLAMMY

Match abandoned but we move up to third. The table is very tight with just two points between us in third and Sussex in last place.

    Re: GLAMMY

I feel for the club on nights like this. They did so well to get the game on tonight. Then it rains again. The forecast is poor for Sunday too. Not good for revenue.
    We will probably stay fourth...

    Re: GLAMMY

Raining again. As with last Saturday the weather forecasters get it wrong. There is not supposed to be any rain Cardiff this evening.

    Re: GLAMMY

So who opens with Donald? I would go with Ingram and have Cooke at three.

Agreed Geraint. Sussex beats Hants the other day and have some very dangerous players.

    Re: GLAMMY

Yep it can be so localised. Have a feeling we won't see any cricket tonight. The forecast for Sunday is also iffy so just don't know whether to go that game or not. This is bad luck for the club to...

Re: Jobi...still at it at 35

Agree with all the positive stuff about him. Very well liked by Reading fans and always comes across as level headed

    Re: BBC Employees pay

You are indirectly paying toward the cost of any product you buy which has been advertised on ITV though. Agree imprisonment for paying the license fee is ridiculous.

    Re: GLAMMY

Fantastic win. We were watching the score updates on my son's phone en route to a family meal. Brilliant from Ingram and Cooke did well too. Fabulous stuff from Meschede at the death. Pleased that...

    Re: GLAMMY

So Glammy will need 220 to win. That's about 30 more than they would want to be chasing. Doable but only if Ingram plays a big innings

    Re: GLAMMY

I know. Rudolph's captaincy again very dubious. Salter and Ingram going for 7/8 an over which is fine are taken off for bowlers going for 13/14 an over. Play the slower bowlers and make the batsmen...

    Re: GLAMMY

Yep my son picked up on this. I was oblivious to it all. Hell of a catch though. Salter stood his ground in disbelief.
Big run chase today. Essex 115/2 off 11. Why take Ingram off after conceding 7...

He was timing the ball really well. There is no way Somerset would have chased down 200

    Re: GLAMMY

Yes I was thinking that too. They did really well in the County Championship last season but this time around they are really struggling. Their performance last night reminded me of Glammy in T20...

    Re: GLAMMY

How annoying was that? I said to my lad after about 16 overs that this would be the first time we had seen Glammy score 200 in Cardiff in T20. We were nailed on for the win and that lost point could...

    Re: GLAMMY

    Yep it was Kent.

I remember our final game that season against an appalling Derbyshire side. The rain wrecked the game. Even then Glammy set Derbyshire a very generous target as they had to force...

I'm about to leave in a few minutes from just outside of Cheltenham. The forecast appears to be cloudy but dry for Cardiff this evening so hopefully it will be alright.

    Re: Tomlin has signed!

This is a very good signing.I would have loved Reading getting Tomlin in to replace Danny Williams. He will score his fair share of goals. Warnock is canny and knows what he is doing. This looks...
