    Re: 5th Ashes Test

Very poor shot from Root. His conversion rate from 50's to 100s is piss poor.
He may be a very good batsman but world class my arse.

One for you cricket fans on here

It's only just dawned on me that we got 7 left handed batsman playing against SA.
I can't ever recall any test nation having so many lefties in a test match. I remember back in the 90s Sri Lanka had...

Surely that's their worst defeat in the 5 years of the clubs history.

    Crazy isn't it.
    Pathetic effort from our lot.
Looking at the run rate it looks like we've reverting back to slogging.

Watching the live feed now that pink ball don't half look bright.
    184-6. Still 104 behind.
Surely we can't be the side that loses to Derbyshire. That would be so embarrassing.

    Any book recommandations please

I got some down time coming up and I'm out of reading material.
Anyone read any decent books lately? I mainly read sporting autographies but I am open to anything really.
    Thanks in advance.

That can't be right Mr Morgan, surely, unless you are talking about monthly payments?
I live on a council estate in Cwmbran and I pay over £1,100.00 a year.
  22. Re: O/T Jeff Lynne's ELO were brilliant last night at Wembley

Used to love ELO back in the day. I still get all their albums up in my attic.
Sadly for me their music hasn't lasted the test of time. These days it sounds so dated. My opinion only.

    Re: Proposals To Improve Football

I think they mean the same as rugby. So if time is up just as you get to take a corner, you can take the corner and play doesn't end until the ball goes dead again.

    Re: Film 17

Last night I watched a film from 2008 call "A raisin in the sun."
It's about a black family in America during the 1950s. I wouldn't say its a classic, but well worth a watch. 8-10
