  1. Re: Former City keeper scores against Holland

I felt a bit for him, he just did not click what the ref was asking him to do.

Definitely one of the funniest things I've seen on a football pitch :hehe:

Re: Another 3 stabbings in London yesterday

I agree legalise drugs, better education and schemes for young at risk kids so they don't fall in to gangs and more police on the streets would drastically reduce this.

Re: Another 3 stabbings in London yesterday

Anyone willing to kill or wound someone should be put away imo.

But the route cause of all this needs addressing too, sticking people in prison won't stop it happening.
  5. Re: Former City keeper scores against Holland

I was going to say that 45 minutes he got against Blackpool I thought he looked great. I think that was the game where he broke his ankle too?

On the other hand I remember him trying to take a...

Re: This is how Cardiff City should be run

But the point people are making is if there is a good progressive system in place you shouldn't end up like a pompey or a sunderland, because they were being ran like joke shops.

  9. Re: 2 Days In Porto, 3 In Lisbon Recommendations??

The Timeout Food Market in Lisbon is definitely worth a visit one evening.

Pink street and Bario Alto have a lot of cool bars.

In terms of site seeing I think it's definitely worth paying to...

Re: Corbyn on grass roots football and Trusts

Everyone in Wales is conditioned too because Wales is in the state it is because of the tories. Even in the last ten years the affect of austerity has killed people and made people's lives miserable.

    Re: Climate Change

Electric cars are much more efficient so less fossil fuel is used to charge a car than would be used in petrol for it to travel the same distance. That's also ignroing the fact that the energy mix...

Re: Barnsley sack manager Daniel Stendel

When was the last time he did a good job?

Shite at Stoke, shite at Southampton, Shite at QPR. Always goes on about never being relegated even though he's just been sacked months before his team...

Re: This is how Cardiff City should be run

I'd say we aren't building on a very good opportunity. We are standing still in terms of youth development, player acquisition and planning for the next manager.

Re: This is how Cardiff City should be run

I don't think anyone is having a go, just saying it would be good if the club had a clear path to the first team for youth team players and didn't buy players like tomlin, cunningham etc who don't...

Re: This is how Cardiff City should be run

Why can't people be happy that the club have come a long way while also pointing out the club don't seem to have a long term plan?

Our academy isn't producing any players and we've got at best a...

It was in a conversation about scrapping income tax. I don't think he needed to explicitly spell it out.

    Re: Climate Change

I think he means because there would be no tax on income either.
  19. Re: Chelsea should make you ask questions of YOUR club

That's more to do with the Class 1 and 2 academies I think because a class 1 can take a player from a class 2 for peanuts. Maybe that is why it doesn't make sense for smaller clubs.

    But Swansea...
  20. Re: Stores that will disappear from our High Streets in the next decade or so?

Bookies are thriving aren;t they? There seem to be millions of them.

I'm surprised travel agents are still going.

I think bookshops and record shops are doing better these days too.

    I think...
  21. Re: Chelsea should make you ask questions of YOUR club

Are people just not readin the article? It's not saying Chelsea are amazing it's saying Chelsea have been forced to do this and it's worked so maybe it could work for everyone else instead of...
  22. Re: Chelsea should make you ask questions of YOUR club

Yes but why don't we have a system in place to do the same? Why doesn't every club? It might come down to money but when we are wasting money on Tomlin, Cunningham, Reid etc wouldn't it have been...
  23. Re: Chelsea should make you ask questions of YOUR club

Yeah that's what the article says, but the point is the fact they didn't shows maybe it's better to promote from within than spend money.

    Re: Any thoughts on this?

Sounds like a bunch of jobsworth stewards. Why not let him cover it up?

I suppose they were worried if he celebreated a goal and everyone kicked off but it seems a bit heavy handed to me.
