    Re: Riot in Ely

BBC now reporting it was an electric bike, big difference from a (normal) e-scooter in terms of the speed it could hit with a passenger on the back. Basically half way between a mountain bike and a...

    Re: Riot in Ely

I see loads of Surron-style electric scramblers being driven by kids without helmets, they hit speeds of 50mph+ and don't tend to stop at red lights. They are silent and look like normal bikes from a...

Re: Probably a question for a plumber

Our boiler is 50 years old and doesn't even have a thermostat, I managed to bring it into the modern age (ish) and save a fortune by using a smart plug on the old (broken) clockwork wall timer box.

    Re: SUV Drivers

One of my pet hates, I've taken to holding my position but stopping rather than swerving into the gutter to avoid them, it gets quite interesting when they realise they have to stop too.

Re: City TV stream working for anyone?

I don't get to many games as I live a bit far away, happy to support the club a bit by paying to watch but frustrating the free streams work when the paid one doesn't.

    Your right about the...

Re: What would you do with £195 mil?

I would spend a small proportion (maybe 2 or 3 mil) of the initial lump sum just to sort out family and friends in the short term.

I would invest the bulk and use the interest/profit to set up a...

Re: 20MPH speed limits North Cardiff

If your car has adaptive cruise control it's much easier.

I wouldn't buy one without now as it's so hard to stick to 20mph whilst paying full attention to the road

Facebook are making huge investments in this at the moment, you may want to hang on to see what gets released in the coming months.

Been wanting to try that route for a while, conditions were finally perfect, as you say, need to be very careful in certain spots around Gower.

Re: Stand up paddle boards or sit on kayak

Really can't recommend an isup enough, they are more weather dependent than a kayak but have a lot of other advantages (I'm planning to get a Kayak at some point as they have their own benefits)

    Re: Orange card

Football by its nature is different to rugby, it's much easier to put 9 men behind ball and see out a sin bin than it is in rugby (I heard its worth 7 in rugby on average)

Why not have penalty goals? similar thing works well in rugby, goal awarded and yellow card for perpetrator.

Re: Brentford v Swansea. Play off final

I'd agree in most cases but when the guy is slowly heading towards the touchline and the player comes from a mile away before landing on his calf, red seems reasonable.

    I'd be tamping if that...
