Got a family member in hospital at the moment, and it was such a sad ward. It was full of older people, so they didnt have Ipads etc, so the people who didnt have visitors were just looking into space.

One lady tried speaking to the nurse, and she barely spoke. I understand its a hard and draining job, but a little bit of a coversation for someone who potentially has a few weeks/months left isnt too much to ask.

Anyways, my main point is, why arent their TVs? My relative was told the company who supplied them has gone bust. I didnt understand this though. Does a third party pay for the TV licence/running of them?

What is there to do, other than listen to the machines beep.

Never really visited people in hospital before, but I left thinking of those poor people being stuck with nothing.
