17 games playing today but none on TV - why not?

It's atrocious isn't it, no footy on TV of any note until Seville at 6pm tonight, they've really fecked the FA cup up this year.

Maybe with the timing of the games being so close to NYE they were worried about attendances. As our games shows, so close to NYE people just cant be bothered to go to the game if its on TV.

I think there are several on Sunday looking at the timings of the games.

Beeb have MotD highlights, won't shift celeb editions of Mastermind and Pointless for a full game.

Surely most of the big games have been delayed just to give Premiership clubs an extra day off as they played Thursday.I'm surprised to see 4 of them playing today although I guess most will be putting out weakened sides anyway.
