Another in a long line of ex-Rotherham forwards that won't 'score in a brothel' for Cardiff:

    Ronnie Moore
    Leo Fortune West
    Alan Lee
    Adam Le Fondre
    Alex Revell...?

I actually watched Revell a few times last season when Rotherham were on TV. He was a real handful and suited their long ball game perfectly. He is without doubt a decent striker at League One level, not a chance he could cut it at a decent Championship level though. He's another Alan Lee. As others have said, maybe Slade is planning for next season!!

The signing doesn't inspire me either, but what are people's realistic expectations after the disaster that was Solskjaer?
What they appear to be doing is getting players at their own level - im afraid that is Division 1.

I don't think it's a management problem. I think there is a collective hive-mind style subconscious problem with our squad. For whatever reason they just can't get up to the required standard anymore.

It was the same under Solskjaer.

Players who want to play for Slade might be a worth a crack. The players we have now don't seem to want to play for anyone, and like I said, it appears to be a subconscious problem.

If we want the best championship/low prem players, they will be expensive.
Whoever in the football club who decided that his was a good appointment should be slung out pronto.
