Problem is that the opposition would need to agree, would teams agree to a situation which would raise the home crowd and atmosphere?

Cardiff City chairman Mehmet Dalman says the club needs special permission from the authorities to change home kit from red back to blue
— BBC Wales Sport (@BBCWalesSport) January 9, 2015If Tan gives go-ahead for blue, Football League would allow immediate return as long as ref and opposition agree, we understand
— Cardiff City Online (@CardiffCityLive) January 9, 2015We understand Cardiff City COULD play in blue against Fulham and for future home matches LIVE http://t.co/EOegkAZfAi pic.twitter.com/8pBChjRjth

Won't matter. We will know they wouldn't allow it and make passions higherOriginally Posted by Charlie wrote on Fri, 09 January 2015 10:24
Them not allowing it would be a huge own goal by the opposition if they want to decrease passions. Refusing to budge would only make passions higher I'm sure.Originally Posted by AlwaysBlueAway wrote on Fri, 09 January 2015 10:28
At the end of the day they are all football people so common sense should prevail.Originally Posted by Charlie wrote on Fri, 09 January 2015 10:24
If I was a Fulham fan, I'm not sure I'd be completely comfortable with the club refusing the request just because it might dampen the atmosphere at an away ground.
Probably get Swansea in the 5th round of the cup at home and they'd refuse
I just hope nothing goes wrong now
As stated in another thread- 20,000 of us knowing it was Fulham who denied us playing in blue would most certainly not dampen the atmosphere. Quite the opposite I should imagine......Originally Posted by lardy wrote on Fri, 09 January 2015 10:43

What return to blue? Is it all sorted now? When you've supported the Club for 40 years you expect black clouds.Originally Posted by Jimmy the Jock wrote on Fri, 09 January 2015 11:23

I'll be 50 soon. I won't believe it until it's done. Anyway, we'll still have a crappy badge. However I may go for the first time on Saturday for 2 years (if, and it's a big if) we're back in blue.Originally Posted by Jimmy the Jock wrote on Fri, 09 January 2015 11:38

I thought the badge was being changed as well with the Bluebird being the male (the bigger dominant one) and the dragon (very apt) being the female (smaller)?Originally Posted by Steve R wrote on Fri, 09 January 2015 11:43

Your porch window will become of great value as it is a reminder of days of olde.Originally Posted by Steve R wrote on Fri, 09 January 2015 12:17
