Rhys Weston by a mile
Greg Farrell and Barrie Jones another two, especially Farrell, unplayable on his day.Originally Posted by NECS wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 14:12
Aaron Ramsey for me. He was dominating games as a 17 year old.
A wonderful talent. He's still a superb player but I can't help wondering just how good he could have been if it hadn't been for the lengthy career interruption he suffered following the horrendous injury he suffered.
Not in the same league but I loved watching McPhail control the tempo of a game when he was on song, likewise Jason Koumas.
20. Gary O'Neil
He only started eight games and scored one goal for the Bluebirds back in 2004, but fans still talk about him. The talent was obvious just from the way the midfielder ran onto the pitch. Pure class.
Now i remember his short stint here and indeed he was bloody good but i certainly dont remember one single fan around me saying "you can tell how good he is by the way he runs"
what a shiiite piece of no-news tuesday journalism.
Ian Gibson would be right up there for me.
^ this; what a Tucker oversight; Sir Ivor was quality personified.Originally Posted by NECS wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 14:12

Ivor Allchurch, Peter King & Greg Farrell. I still find it unbelievable that Peter King never played for England!!! When Farrell wanted to play he was, quite frankly, unplayable.
Farrell summed up perfectly.Performance in a 5-3 win overr Middlesboro' probably the best individual performance I have seen.Originally Posted by Josef wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 14:57
This list has to have Ian Gibson and Ivor Allchurch otherwise it's a total joke. Some on the list I would not have in a list of top Sunday League players.
Alan Curtis
I'd of had Wayne Routledge in front of Zaha and Ravel.
aaron Ramsey
Who is the most gifted player to have worn the shirt? In my lifetime, probably Rambo. Although if you look at what players did before they played for Cardiff, then Robbie Fowler is up there too. Not a skillful player, but if ever a player had a gift for scoring goals, it was Fowler.
Who is the player who appeared most gifted whilst wearing it? Much harder. Could be Rambo. Could be Bothroyd - he did things that I can't imagine many other players being able to do. Could be Whitts, if you are looking at a player's ability to hit a ball.
Jay Bothroyd was as skilful a player seen down the City as anyone.
I loved watching Jason Koumas in his first spell here.
Peter Whittingham
As regards the article:
is it true that Brian Clark's nickname was Clarke? If so, why?
Ravel Morrisson - what a waste
Robin Friday.
Few players have the ability but for me when Barrie Jones was on the ball you could hear the buzz from the crowd.
