Sky Sports 'reporting' (aka speculating) that Hull have or will bid £4.5m to take Rudy from Blackburn.
'Made in cardiff' and virtually 'Given Away By Cardiff'.

Come on you know the sell on is 50% right?Originally Posted by jon1959 wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 22:18
Really - the same as the Gareth Bale deal? Consolation prize.Originally Posted by goats wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 22:29
West Brom and QPR also linked to Rudy in the past week.Originally Posted by Croesy Blue wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 22:21
Another great Malky deal and we bought Cornelius instead. Why does it always happen to us. Guerra will be scoring next you watch.
Pretty sure we bought Helguson instead.Originally Posted by valley boy wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 22:39
You are probably right but how can you give Rudy away and pay x amount of millions for Cornelius. There again I suppose thats football.Originally Posted by surge wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 22:42
Can't believe we sold rudy, still gutted about it to this day
Rudy was hopeless for us and offered very little in the time he was here. Really not sure why there are many who think of him as being any good for us.
As for him possibly being bought for a big fee, so be it.
He wasn't hopeless, but neither was he the striker that is now attracting so much good attention. Think the best description would be that he was clumsy but looked good on the odd occasions his body and brain all worked together.Originally Posted by Harry Flashman wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 23:02
Agreed. I still find it odd that people slated him, especially when looking at the garbage of the past year or two in our team.Originally Posted by surge wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 23:11
I can't say I thought much of him when he was here but compared to the ones we've brought in since he looks like Nat Lofthouse.
Rudy we shit for us, we even had to teach him how to jump properly.
He's done well at Blackburn but I think he would help Hull to get relegated if he went there.
Never rated him.
We also have to teach the whole squad how to kick the ball. Think they call it training.Originally Posted by blueblade wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 23:34
Always happens to us
Ah well, these things happen and it will be Blackburn's gain. Not too many of us were "gutted" when he left initially.Originally Posted by beef wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 23:45
He's obviously improved his finishing since he left but he was never going to improve here if he was only given 5-10 minutes occasionly to show what he could do.
I always thought he was worth holding on to as he provided a nuisance factor to whoever he played against. He was at the wrong club at the wrong time, we were pushing for promotion and then trying to survive, which doesn't really allow for players who are trying to develop. At Blackburn he's been given time on the pitch and has progressed well, good luck to him.
B 2 B.Originally Posted by blueblade wrote on Tue, 13 January 2015 23:34
We weren't just pushing for promotion, our owner was demanding a top two spot - definitely not a good time for a developing player.Originally Posted by Stavross CCFC wrote on Wed, 14 January 2015 08:14
