    Re: 'Local' players

Does that mean we can have local players from Bristol? What about players born in North Wales, are they "local" too?

Regardless of half of your players in an imaginary team coming from your rivals, that is possibly the stupidest article I have ever seen.

Should bring the rule in I think. All the players join us being one hour from Cardiff plus a few more from Bristol and we'll win the premier league in 2 years.

Also isnt Amsterdam, Dublin, Brussels and Paris an hours flight from Cardiff as well? We can be Champions League winners in 3 years too.

Yes but they're all within 1 hour of Swansea which was the criterion they applied. I do agree with the respondent above who thinks it's the stupidest article he's ever read. But it kept a journalist or two occupied for an hour or two. Kept them off the dole queue.

Gareth Bale would not touch Swansea with a barge pole.Anyway'they wouldnt be in the Prem in the first place.Crdiff and surrounding areas making more class players.Cardiff would be where Swansea are.
