Football has moved on and this is a fairly recent phenomenon (at least in this country) but i cannot remember a time where i thought we had any long term on-field strategy and it always seems to be just about the next game for us whereas teams like Southampton, Brentford, Bournemouth seem to have a system that has a more long term vision.

I can only speak for myself and say that i am happy to copy links from this and any other forum and give credit to whoever put the work in but on there they have questionable morals as we all know and decide to take the credit for someone elses work!

Therefore, while the seniors are playing the very direct brand of football that we've seen in the past three months, the players below that level are not suited to it and this has to make it harder for them to break into the first team squad.
