Job is way too big for Slade and Young unfortunately. They're at their happiest moulding lower league journeymen into a 4-4-2. What a waste of talent we've seen on their watch.

Unfortunately those talents you describe were picking up large contracts whilst not really wanting to be here.

Its easy to say that the management are wasting those talents, however what we are going through is what most relegated teams have to go through and its not an easy job.
    Its good this imagining lark

Chris Wathan earlier this week wrote an article titled "The day Cardiff City fans were reborn....", this article and that the Echo asked Dalman about the u-turn from Christmas prove that their journalism skills have been reborn too. He's fast taking over TOBW as the first (and sometimes only) thing to read in the paper

Now that our identity has been restored we have to sort out the mess off the field; Tan's structure has wasted so much money in the past three windows (at least) which has only added to our financial problems.

I dont think it takes top journalism skills to write an article stating we've wasted a lot of money over the past few years.

No, but it takes especially poor journalism skills to avoid the story which is what the Echo would have done if we were still playing in red (ignoring that one editor who helped promoted the Trust shirt). Remember this is the paper that once had Tan's holiday snaps as front page news

the only thing it does point out is that fans and newspaper outlets are happy to ignore a club overspending and splashing on players when the event is happening.

Then seem to turn around and say "why did this happen" after the event.
You know we are getting rid of up to 10 players in this window right?

Ah, well... looks like Scott Young got his way.

Not good enough for a midtable championship team but good enough for a midtable La Liga team... Yeah right!

By 30th June, I wonder whose judgment will be proved right?

Diego Forlan came in 30th in the Daily Mail's worst ever premier league players but scored 1 in 2 for Villarreal and then for Atlético Madrid. Yeah right.

Didnt even get a fair chance. Tan's clearly telling Slade to sell up and cut the wage bill.

Couldn't be more obvious could it? I have no problem with that myself. The sooner the club learns to live within its means the better. No reason why we can't do that with the next 3 seasons of parachute payments and still produce a competitive side. I just wish Tan had made the decision last summer instead of allowing a clueless manager to blow another few million .
But it is our debt he used to furnish OGS with his 'overexcited kid in a sweetshop' fund
