Pace and goals in the window and we'll be a different team.

We have pace in Kadeem Harris, who Slade has been very reluctant to start, and we have signed a striker who works really hard but is not renowned for scoring goals. In addition we have Fabio and John, who are both quick and left backs, sitting on the bench whilst he plays a very slow centre back at right back, and a natural right back at left back. Oh and any players that can create and pass are being shipped out or left to train with the academy.
The future is not looking bright right now but the future is brighter if we at least wait until the end of the window to see who he has brought in.

Rowetts doing a much brilliant job with far less resources at his disposal. Slades had 4 months in charge if anything its getting worse..

The players that he has ignored highlight to me just how poor a manager he is and the sooner he is gone the better.

Got to admit that, despite the result I was pleasantly surprised by the performance last night. I don't get to see us live too often so was expecting the worst after having read a lot of posts on here. Up until they scored we were playing well. Revell looks decent and fully committed and, given a run of games, with Kadeem will form a good partnership.

Have to agree that it's a mystery why we played Brayford at left back while we have Fabio and John available for selection. It was a bad mistake from Connolly giving the ball away cheaply and finding himself out of position that led to their second goal.

Of those playing last night the only one I would have taken off was Noone. No penetration and didn't look interested at times. Easy to look good cutting inside and running across the back four without any thought of delivering a final pass or shot. Boro soon realised they didn't even need to tackle him as they could push him sideways until he gave the ball away. He can be dangerous at times but at the moment we just have too many luxury players in there.

All that said, I wouldn't be disapponted to see last nights team, with the change of Malone at LB and Brayford at RB, starting against Derby

Cheers for the report - sounds a lot like what I saw at Norwich.
