I assume he'll be part of Slade's plans once he's over the injury?
@CardiffCityFC: #CardiffCity can confirm that a mutual agreement with Bolton has been reached whereby Joe Mason will return to CCS with immediate effect.
Very good news - could work well with Revell.
who says good news lol...
the striker position... the feared black widow position at cardiff city
could have his contract ended with immediate effect
How long will Joe be out?
Excellent. An actual footballer in the team who likes to score goals. Welcome home, Joe. You are going to need your boots.
He's back hint is in the postOriginally Posted by Nottingham_Blue wrote on Wed, 21 January 2015 14:05
Get Healey back as well. He's got to be worth a punt instead of Le Fondre.
Not sure he counts towards the three new players I'm after, unless he's back to being the full of confidence striker we had last time.
He is also injured.Originally Posted by ragbone wrote on Wed, 21 January 2015 14:13
And Slade won't rate Mason because he's a decent player technically so he'll be gone soon enoughOriginally Posted by Optimistic Nick wrote on Wed, 21 January 2015 14:21
Masons been back a while now, he's said that Slade is going to give him a chance and he'll be back within approx 3/4 weeks from his injury
He cannot be fully fit soon enough!!
Welcome back, Joe. About bloody time!
The odd thing about our striking positions is that Kenwynne manages to score even with few opportunities. If we play with one upfront
as I hope we will then Mason is not the man to play in that position.
Great to see Joe back, if given a chance has a really good opportunity to get a good run in the side.
Always rated Mason and think he should have played more games for the club to date - could be the best incoming player in January
Joe and Revell then Kenwynne to come off the bench sounds a lot better than Kenwynne and ALF with Macheda to come off the bench.Originally Posted by Matty P wrote on Wed, 21 January 2015 15:03
Fantastic news! Far and away the best finisher at the football club. Welcome Back Joe
We haven't seen the best of ALF either, obviously a confidence player, hope he gets it together.Originally Posted by surge wrote on Wed, 21 January 2015 15:10
Ron feckin' Healey would be better than Le Fondre.Originally Posted by Cretin Hop wrote on Wed, 21 January 2015 14:14
HAS to play alongside Jones for me. He'd be perfect and score more goals than the others and contribute more.
About time! Him and Kenwyn would be a good combo, mason works hard enough for a 442 to work too
Wonder if he regrets getting rid of that toaster now.
Playing 4-4-2 is the reason our possession stats are so low and Mason can't play on his own up front.Originally Posted by Captain Hindsight wrote on Wed, 21 January 2015 17:10
