    New job for Fabio

    http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ca rdiff-city-manager-russell-slade-8491285

Looks like the only future for him at the club is as a wideman midfielder. I think he's made for the job, not good at defending but loves going forward. Wish RS had tried him out earlier. Just hope he doesn't hang on to the ball for too long instead of passing it, and then lose it, as Craig is doing.

he's better suited as a LWB or LM

I think he could make it there as well. Hope we get a good turnout for Reading to support him. He's made lots of friends here, wd be sorry to see him go. But if he doesn't shape up in midfield he'll be out of here.

"Fabio hasn't started a match since before Christmas, with Slade believing others make the Bluebirds more solid at the back... even though Cardiff continue to ship goals."

"Matt doesn't have the sheer pace of others, but he reads the game really well and doesn't get into too many situations where it's one-on-one."" - except for their second goal...and maybe their first too.

    Re: New job for Fabio

I like the idea of fabio as a wide midfielder and this would probably help us Defensively as well. Real shame about fabio as he was a player who I believe was in good form before Slade came and has been made a scapegoat for the Bolton game I think. With the amount of mistakes other defenders have made especially Morrison it seems really unfair that he is the one who has been left out. In fact brayford and fabio were both playing well and bar the Norwich home game Defensively we were looking okish. In fact one of the turning points in that match was when fabio went off injured and John came on and got murdered by redmond.

Slade doesn't half come out with some rubbish.

Slade maintained: "Matt and John are tight when they play. They were together when we earned a clean sheet at Birmingham.

"Maybe we lack a little bit going forward, but, in the main, we were very good defensively for 60 minutes at Middlesbrough.

"Matt doesn't have the sheer pace of others, but he reads the game really well and doesn't get into too many situations where it's one-on-one."

What he's failed to mention is that they have also conceded 5 at Bournemouth, 3 at Norwich, the 2 last night plus others. Never mind though, they helped keep a clean sheet against a Birmingham side that were near the bottom of the table, quite a few points behind us....at the time

He's better suited on the bench and never coming on.
36 at last count and we're only just over halfway through the season
