Thread: Another self inflicted own goal yesterday

Another self inflicted own goal yesterday

The Fulham game had a cracking atmosphere and Slade and certain players admitted it helped get the win. The poor away defeats and "it's only the cup" mentality obviously led to a reduced crowd yesterday but was there a need to close the only part of the ground which makes a regular attempt - however inane - to get an atmosphere going?

The Club, in its wisdom, ensured Reading enjoyed a home game feel to it. All for the sake of a few hours' pay for some stewards and caterers.

However dire we played, a vocal crowd may have helped get them through the 90 minutes.
