Hasn't he said repeatedly that if the majority of fans don't want him at City he'll walk away. Maybe he's coming next Saturday hoping to have a hostile reception and then he can justify walking away.

I don't think he was ever going to get a warm reception. I feel at peace with him for the time being but I'm not going to applaud him.
An ego driven attempt to seek adulation at the Derby game could be counterproductive and embarrasing. Especially with the likelihood that the manager will stubbornly stick to the same team selection,formation and tactics that will lead to Derby giving us a total stuffing on the pitch.
