Thought Doyle was a great signing but glaring lack of a much needed midfielder to control play.
Given that Fabio is still here and he is great going forward but leaves gaps which our opponents are exploiting well, surely he would be great in LM leaving Whitts to be creative more forward. Fabio can tackle well as he is a defender but loves attacking. When he does this there will still be Maslone behind him so no gap to exploit. He will have the stamina as he will not have to cover so far back. Would love to see Slade try it

and Manga as a holding midfielder in the Roy keane role
No.
It will come down to what Fabio's final delivery is like.
While we're at it, how about Kenwyne between the sticks?
Lets put all our defence in midfield and all our midfield in defence

I'll never forget the day Fabio attempted a clearance from a corner and ballooned it 100 feet into the air - talent, shame it only traveled forward 5 yards and Fabio didn't really challenge for the header on its way down.
All in the 18 yard box, top that.
