Re: Briton kills man who was filming daughter with tablet

The victim, 43, had been arrested days before for allegedly possessing indecent images of children, the Civil Guard told the Press Association

Not that the attacker would have known that

He didnt intend to knowingly murder him - just to batter the fuc k out of him - and then hopefully he would go to jail for a long time. The fact he has died though is of no pain to anyone apart from maybe his parents

You don't know what murder is.

Re: Briton kills man who was filming daughter with tablet

    It's manslaughter, murder is pre-meditated

Murder is what happens in Midsomer 50 times a week!

You should be able to throw rotten eggs at those filming/taking photos with a tablet.

You're right, premeditated means little in that situation: if he 'just' intended serious harm and killed him as a result it's still murder whether that was his plan at all. Basic principle of the criminal law in England and Wales. May be different in the Spain I don't know.

Beating someone to death in the middle of a restaurant in a holiday resort isn't the act of a heroic man.

If he checked the recordings maybe he saw all sorts of other indecent images on there making the above point invalid.

What would most people have done in the same situation? Asked the guy to stop filming? Called the police? I doubt that most people would resort to murder in front of their families.
Unfortunately he deserves to be locked up for a long time.

Exactly what can someone photograph in the middle of a busy restaurant that they deserve to be killed for?

Pictures of Croesy chowing down could be deemed X-Rated.

This is very true, you would certainly want to give the man a 'slap' but I assume the content couldn't possibly be that graphic, unless however he looked through more images on the tablet and just loast it becuase of those? Still not an excuse though!

I blame newspapers and mass hysteria for this man's death as much as the father's complete over-reaction.

Nothing excuses what this father did. He should have called the police if he was concerned about the images and let the law deal with it.
You are allowed to take photos at school plays, you are simply asked not to share them on social media.

This is such a good post, innocence has gone and everyone has a paranoia about paedo's.I've got paper cuttings when i was a kid in the swimming gala and no one ever had any thought of wrong doing yet today you're not allowed to take photo's of your own kids playing football, sad times.
