A Special Constable is a volunteer who has all the power of a police officer but just gets expenses. The one is a police officer.The other is a government ploy to try to dupe the public on police figures.
One does nothing the other does nothing but gets paid for it
Neither get to ride around in a police car all day, have to walk everywhere but might be given a bicycle if they're lucky.
One's a chocolate fireguard the other is a jumped up little twerp who gets enough of a kick out of being a bully he doesn't even need to get paid for it.
i used to know a " special pc " who worked for the local council, he was a top bloke and i just couldnt understand why he would want to be a " special pc ", used have a day of per week to do it
when we knew he was working and on duty on the by-pass past the airport, we used to hammer past in our council vans driving way above the speed limit, he would always text us with some abuse LOL
pcso's are a differnt hettle of fish, my bro in law is old bill and he heads up a " community team " and has a team of them, lets just say he cannot wait to retire
