Can City and its supporters cope with success or do we blow it when we get close to the dizzy heights.
Since Cardiff City was founded in 1910 its only had two periods of sustained success in the top division, those having the common denominator of following the two World Wars,since there have been many promising times,only to blow up in our faces.
Is this scenario of not able to cope a big part of the clubs tradition ,heritage and culture, is it ingrained into the club as a whole no matter who runs and manages it.
A while ago a lady spoke on a radio programme of her husbands commitment to his local Football League club,going on to say that their life was built around supporting and following his team,adding that it never brought him much pleasure or happiness only misery and heartbreak.
Are Cardiff City as a club and supporters afraid of success and what change it might bring ,do we feel safer and more protected by just being just another football club like the majority of others,is this the history of the club and what it stands for.
