Thread: Comfort food tonight.

  1. #1

    Comfort food tonight.

Mrs BW is away for a few nights so it's time for some comfort food tonight.

Sausage , beans and chips with a couple of rounds of bread and butter to make some chip butties.

    Lovely grub.

    What would you have ?

If she's away I love to do myself lamb chops and chips with a few rounds of bread and butter. She doesn't like lamb and hates seeing me gnawing at them You do need to have about 6 or 7 though with brown sauce

I'd make myself an omelette ( 4 eggs ) a little milk with bacon, mushrooms and tomato, cut some proper thick chips and have a tin of marrow fat peas with chilli sauce.

Fish fingers, baked beans and chips with loads of ketchup washed down with orange fanta.
To finish it off in style angel delight.
All this stuff is normally banned in the Major household.
If in Wales, scrub the above main course and replace with corned beef pasties.

At least some folks are getting an awareness that they really ought to cut back on the 'look at my dinner' posts by now.

I'd struggle to see past a decent Chinese, crispy shredded beef, chips and prawn toasts.

Can't beat sausage, beans and chips mind, bread and butter a must.

My missus is also away so I'm entertaining the 20 year old sexpot from next door....nothing flash tonight as I'm struggling for time after a hard day in work.....

Scallops marinated in blood orange vinegar with Dorset crab and blood orange mayonnaise.
Griddled fillet of seabass with oyster beignet , salsify, smoked garlic hollandaise, red wine and rosemary jus.
White truffle followed by coffee and mints.
