Some posters are pushing this deluded idea that cutbacks started in September.
As if signing a defender for £5million on 1st September can be a cutback , maybe they wanted City to spend £10 million ???
Then at the end of September paying a loan fee and wages for a Premier League midfielder Ravel Morrison - presumably they thought we should have paid more millions to sign him???
Even in October we paid a fee for Slade when cheaper out of work managers were available.
if that is austerity as some are claiming then some fans really need to try and learn a bit more about the finances of football......or perhaps they have the memory of a goldfish?

Firstly, I disagree: few are suggesting the cutbacks started in September.
If you ignore that, you could say that Slade (without his managerial team) was a cheap appointment and he clearly came in to cut back on finances which was demonstrated in the number of players who had left before the Fulham game.
I don't really know what you're trying to say, whichever reply you want to take.
Paid a tranfer fee for Slade -yes?
Players left in same month as return to blue - yes?
Club going backwards as almost every poster on here says - yes?
Fans staying away in their thousands despite blue- yes?
Actually thats about it - yes?
If anything you've proved that we spent a lot money up until October and then decided we needed to cut back. Does that we'd given up after a poor start or that we'd forgotten about FFP until the first window was history?
