Paco Carreno RIP

I am sure many on here will not have a clue who he was, hardly a household name by any stretch but on the underground punk scene he was an absolute legend.

Paco Carreno, drummer with Conflict, Experiment and Inner Terrestrials passed away yesterday after a long battle with illness.

I had the pleasure of meeting him mnay times - Despite the hardcore sound and attitude of the bands he played in - probably the two most 'avin it punk bands the country has seen - he was a big softy really, a true gent.

Inner Terestrials (his current band) are due to play the Moon Club on Friday 27th Feb - they have had a substitue drummer while he has been ill. Not sure if that gig is still happening at moment, but will be an emotional event if it does.
