    Pleased to see Passport to Pimlico mentioned. The Ealing comedies were brilliant, but this is probably my favourite.

    The Long Good Friday and Get Carter were classics. Kes is great too.

    So many great films that I can't instantly recall. All understated in a British way , and no AK47s

    Hound of the Baskerville's or any hammer, get carter ,long good friday, scum, kes etc. Although I like some yank stuff I find it hard to relate too!
