Surprised no one has mentioned "brassed off" which I thought was superb. I also watched "wild bill" recently which for a low budget film was pretty good.

Where gangster movies are concerned I thought "face" with robbie Carlisle and Damon auburn was top class action.

Like a few others in this thread, I'm a big fan of the Ealing comedies and the Third Man is one of the best films I've seen.

Some cracking films listed in this thread. Faves of mine include 'The Long Good Friday.', 'Get Carter' and 'Scum'. But a real personal favourite of mine, is a film called 'The Villain.' Starring Richard Burton as an Eastend Gangster, for me it has great unintended comedy value. Quite funny seeing Burton acting as a violently gay Eastend gangster, with a dodgy cockney accent.

10 Rillington Place deserves a place on the list as well.

Fantastic cast, great plot and story line. Whenever it comes around I always look forward to seeing it.
