What's this all about.
Have to read the chants in my Guardian tomorrow.
It can't be about the boobs out for the lads can it.
FFS where is the sense of humour these days?

Are you suggesting that is acceptable then?Originally Posted by AlwaysAway wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 19:28
If Schürrle thinks that was an acceptable height for his foot to be going in to a challenge then he's very much mistaken...
Spoiling for an argument again?Originally Posted by Croesy Blue wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 19:42
Depends on the boobs.Originally Posted by Croesy Blue wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 19:42
There isn't one, I find some sexist jokes quite funny tbh.Originally Posted by AlwaysAway wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 19:28

What's the matter with people these days?Humourless times where people look for any old thing being offensive, ffs lighten up.
No arguments from me.Originally Posted by Vinny Riley wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 19:51

It's the sancitmonious, pretentious, exaggerated language that gets me:
'beeping out the word 'tit'
video of two women watching the video in shock
'disgusting' 'deplorable' 'sickening'.
2 reports of sexism two seasons ago..25 this year. 40 million people have watched football in that time.
I'm not saying that there isn't sexism in football, but I'm saying it's not a problem universally felt by all women that must be used to define football, the female gender and the state of the game.
That heather rabbatts is a right boot whereas Carolyn radford would get it
If you work in football you are at risk of abusive chanting. That doesn't mean everything should be accepted but there are things you would never allow in the street that should be just ignored in those 90 minutes.

After talking about some of this before I joined a local feminist group on fb to see what was posted, I was pretty shocked at what some people get shocked about tbh.Originally Posted by JamesWales wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 20:07
What has she ever done to deserve those vile sexual chants?
Without knowing what this sexist chanting is I don't think anyone can say anything conclusively about this.Originally Posted by Croesy Blue wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 20:17

This reeks of a charity who desperately need to justify their existence, thus sensationalising the story.Originally Posted by surge wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 20:31
I've noticed a direct inverse correlation between Whittingham's popularity on this board and Croesy's levels of Joie de vivre.Originally Posted by BlueWales wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 20:34
