Welsh voters prefer Cameron to Miliband as PM

Re: Welsh voters prefer Cameron to Miliband as PM

The only conversation's anyone has about Milliband are "Is he perceived as being too weird to be prime minister?....bacon sandwich" and "Can labour get into power when they are more popular than their leader?...bacon sandwich."

It's like Labour have conceded that if they win it's despite Ed and have given up trying to be positive about him as an individual instead concentrating on reminding us UK politics is not a presidential race. But is Ed really that weird? And if he is, does it matter at all?

Re: Welsh voters prefer Cameron to Miliband as PM

Maybe Labour don't want to win this time around?

It would actually be a good strategy.

True. They'd probably have more slack to invest in public services in 5 years

Whoever wins the next election are going to be one of the most hated governments of all time.

I'm not too sure - people said that the last election was the one not to win, and the Tories have not really been hit that hard. The Tory support is affected by the superficial immigration argument - without that, they'd win by 30 seats.

Re: Welsh voters prefer Cameron to Miliband as PM

I quite like the idea of a Conservative / Lib Dem Govt.

Would be a hole funnier if if it was Labour & UKIP + SNP all together.

There will be no overall winner in May - a minority conservative Govt - and they will call another election in Nov 2015 - I'd have fiver on that

    Hardly surprising news is it.

Even if you exclude the opinion that maybe Welsh people are starting to realise there is an alternative to Labour, whatever you think politically, Cameron is a stronger leader than Milliband.

    Rather surprised by this.
If I were interested in party politics I would find it really hard to choose between the two - but I would probably go for Ed - for old times' sake - and for his wafer thin connection with the working class.

That is one reason why he gets murdered by the press (Red Ed) and will fail to win a clear majority (or win at all) in May. Better that than Blair Mark 2.

Considering the plot is Totalitarianism I'm quite happy to have lost it.
