There's some ugly undertones to this thread.Originally Posted by Under the Splott-light wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 14:24
On your home page you refer to 'shareable pictures'.
I believe you have clients on the other side of the Pond (so to speak). Have you therefore considered that in the U.S. and Canada, both shareable and sharable are common. The latter used to be more common in the U.S. than it is now, but the longstanding American preference for dropping the silent e from -able words has eroded in recent decades, and today shareable prevails by a 2:1 margin in American texts.
I note that my spell checker also queries the use of shareable.
But then it kicks out sharable.
Perhaps it's better to say 'Pictures you can share'?

I like PUNk rock.
Thanks for that, I didn't know about 'Shar(e)able'. When it comes to words like 'customise' I'll whack in the 'z' for the Yanks but if half the English speaking world are comfortable with leaving the 'e' in shareable then I'll probably just leave it in.Originally Posted by Cyclops wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 15:04
Have you considered adding a naked women and flames to the website?
All good things have boobs and fire.
What if I wanted an anti-government meme posted on my page daily?

Ain't it time that road was resurfaced?
(Nothing to do with your web site - just think it's high time that road was resurfaced)
At the risk of being accused of bumping up this thread with a needless reply, which road?Originally Posted by Cyclops wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 19:56
I'm just going to pretend I really need closure on this.Originally Posted by Colonel Cærdiffi wrote on Thu, 05 March 2015 20:35
Don't think the road will be closed - just 'No Parking' cones which have been around most of the week.Originally Posted by Colonel Cærdiffi wrote on Fri, 06 March 2015 14:52
