I agree that Whittingham does not deserve any rating whatsoever.Originally Posted by rich munn wrote on Sat, 07 March 2015 20:03

Moore - 5
Connolly - 7, good footballer.
Morrison - 6
Manga - 7, too good a player for Slade to keep.
Peltier - 6 - must have wondered why there was nobody to pass to ahead of him at any time in the first half.
Gunnarson - 6. (Ralls - 7, but left high and dry by no support)
McEleny - 6 going up towards 8 at the time he was utterly
incomprehensibly taken off. (Kennedy - 5 Tried.)
Noone - 6 - effort.
Macheda - 1 for the goal. Got higher off the ground for that second-half header than has been seen before this season. Useless and cowardly egotist. (Revell - still not sure what the word for a cross between a donkey and a carthorse is)
Jones - 4 - lumbered about ineffectively.
Slade - 2 for being able to find the dug-out, a surprise in itself.
I agree that Whittingham does not deserve any rating whatsoever.Originally Posted by rich munn wrote on Sat, 07 March 2015 20:03

Moore 5 - nothing to do except pick the ball out of the net twice.
Connolly 7 - got forward more than you would expect him to do.
Manga 7 - quality at this level, would like to see him come up for corners, free kicks.
Morrison 5 - generally solid, but marked down for pointless penalty.
Peltier 6 - does what it says on the tin.
Noone 7 - improved display
Whittingham 7 - one of his better games of the season
Gunnarsson 5 - not on pitch long enough to earn a higher mark.
McAleny 8 - having his best game for us so far when "management by numbers" Slade took him off.
Jones 5 - first half poor, second half slightly better.
Macheda 5 - did little besides score.
Subs.
Ralls 7 - completely ridiculous that he was left out in the first place.
Kennedy 6 - some nice touches.
Revell 4 - his combination with Jones just does not work, you would have thought our manager might have realised that by now.
Priceless that.Originally Posted by packerman wrote on Sat, 07 March 2015 20:07
How do you solve a problem like our strike-force? Kenwynne has been the only one capable of scoring all season but hasn't since the 7th minute against Wednesday, Macheda has scored 2 in 2 but doesn't do much else, ALF/Revell/Doyle all work hard but none have managed to score for us...Doyle and ALF being goal machines elsewhere. How long til Mason is back?Originally Posted by the other bob wilson wrote on Sun, 08 March 2015 06:07
With McAleny playing well, Noone having some success on the left and Kennedy having done nothing to deserve being dropped in the first place, I would have liked to have seen all three of them on for the closing stages - this could have been done by pushing McAleny forward to replace the one out of the front two who had been withdrawn for Kennedy's introduction.Originally Posted by surge wrote on Sun, 08 March 2015 09:59
