    Receiving Overseas call

    Just a quickie!!!

A friend of mine in the USA reckons if she phones me on my mobile from hers, both parties are charges for the call, here is what she said....Is she right?

Well I don't know about there or about what kind of plan you have, but here on the cells both people get charged for every minute that they use that's not on their plan. Regardless of who is doing the calling or receiving

    Re: Receiving Overseas call

I thought the person making the call paid the national bit and the person receiving the call paid the international part

I remember making a call to Hong Kong. I asked is that the Li household? She said sorry it's the Wong number.

No no, sorry I misread I think. That's only for american phones. You pay to receive calls I believe. Doesn't work internationally. I guess she'll have to pay the full amount for calling you as you won't pay to receive calls here.
