    excuses for calling in sick

As Monday approaches, the idea to some, to throw a sicky is looming.
now this mb has proven to be a wealth of knowledge and information to us all ,so here I provide the younger generation with a thread full of excuses for calling in sick.
    Anyone with any funny stories?

My Grandmother has died 7 times over the years and always on a Monday.

Tell your boss that you have a problem with your back (i.e. you can't get off it).

You slammed your dick in the fridge door.

I have never once been questioned over this.

A previous flat mate called in when he didn't turn up for his 4pm shift and said he'd just slept in.

A cricked neck, also useful the next day for avoiding awkward eye contact

Having a toddler in a germ infested creche-pit is also handy for an early finish

Tell them that you have indulged in a weekend of incessant sodomy and that you are in pain, incontinent and cannot sit down.

The return to work interview will be fun watching them squirm, and they wont do anything at all, nothing whatsoever, for fear of appearing in the slightest bit anti bummery.

I have never tested this theory mind .. but it's copper bottomed.

Diarrhea, no one in the history of mankind has ever questioned this. Any occasion, no one does.

This. Always a winner. Try not use the term "diarrhea" though. Come up with a euphemism. Stomach flu, food poisoning, gastric irritation etc.
