Let's get back to cheap tickets, the odd live top flight match on BBC1 and ITV and way more homegrown players who actually give a shit.

    Re: Bye Bye Chelsea

I usually want a British team to win against foreign opposition in any European competition (as I did last night), but after the rooftop sniper was taking out the Chelsea players one by one I thought justice was served and Karma bit them on their bottoms

Outside of Cardiff and Wales games, I've never been so glad to watch a team lose. Horrible club, horrible players, horrible fans.

    Re: Bye Bye Chelsea

I caught the second half but did not bother with extra time.
What I saw in those 45 minutes was simply outright cheating by both sides.
They did not even have the decency to at least clutch the correct area of the body when going down as if struck by lightening.
As an example Chelsea should be banned from next years competition and PSG removed from this years.
Two quite horrible clubs that even in a sport where the bar is set very low these two plummeted past the basement and beyond.
Now just have to put up with all the PSG followers at work, tough afternoon ahead.

On the pitch yes, as a city decades behind. Swansea is on a par with Burnley and Stoke with absolute backward ****ers everywhere. You have a few nice beaches which are freezing cold 11 months of the year though.

Loved Souness's comments about cheating Chelsea and about football in general these days. How its considered good play to get the opposition in trouble, instead of jumping back up and trying to look as though it didnt hurt. Something needs to be done. It's largely Sky's fault.

Foreign teams used to dive and roll about years before Sky existed.

    Re: Bye Bye Chelsea

Growing up, I used to always back the British clubs in Europe, now I couldn't give a flying feck if any of them lose. Got to be honest I'm totally disillusioned about the game in general nowadays. As has been mentioned, Sky must take a big blame for that. Too much money!
