Marca has today come out and called the BBC drunk hooligans who defend paedos (not really, but that's the gist) for suggesting Bale was being treated unfairly, which he was.

Ronaldo has apparently not scored his last 54 free-kicks. He's been the don at Real Madrid for several seasons but sometimes that can restrict the team, Di Maria was notedly better in most of the big games last season.

Is anyone arguing Ronaldo isn't a fantastic player? But should he still be taking free-kicks? There's no need to act like you should be only one scoring goals and even if that translates into him working harder than anyone else he should still be able to celebrate his team. Eventually (perhaps already) he won't be the incredible player he has been in every game and if he's still demanding the spotlight Real Madrid will suffer.
